Andeluna is a small boutique winery specialising in premium Bordeaux varietals of world class recognition. Their estate owned vineyards are located in the higher altitude vineyards of Tupungato, one of the best subregions of Mendoza. Their wines are under the special care of winemaker Silvio Alberto along with the expert help of French specialist and wine guru, Michel Rolland. The vines are irrigated by a drop-water system that regulate and supply the exact amount of water that the plant needs. Canopy management ensures a yield of less than 10,000kg per hectre. After hand selecting the very best bunches, the grapes are destemmed and undergo prefermentation maceration at low temperatures. Afterwards the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks at around 26C. Pumping over is carried out three times a day. The wine is then aged in French and American oak for six months and then aged for a further six months in the bottle before release. Food Recommendations:- Roasted and stewed beef or game to braised lamb, sausage, mushrooms, and spice-laden sauces, Malbec has the versatility and spice-affinity to handle a stunning array of food combinations and ethnic cuisines.
