This wine made from Tempranillo (the grape used to make Rioja) and Garnacha. It is smooth and easy drinking with refreshing aromas of red and black fruit and a hint of spice. This is a soft, fruity, easy-going red with bags of dark berry fruit and just a twist of pepper on the finish. Modern winemaking techniques and short fermentation in stainless steel vats to enhance ripe fruit flavours and soft tannins. These Spanish wines are all sourced from the historic wine region of Carinena, famous for its hot, dry summer days and cool nights which fully ripen the grapes. Bodegas San Valero is one of the leading cooperatives in the Carinena region, San Valero was founded in 1945, today it has over 700 active members who own about 4,000 hectares of vineyard.
