Stylish and fun label portraying the skyline as seen from Primrose Hill itself! Winemaker Owen Elias can’t quite bring himself to admit that it is one of the best sparkling wines Chapel Down have ever produced! This is a very fresh and fruity sparkling wine which is made in England but is made in exactly the same way as Champagne. It has clean crisp flavours and aromas of ripe, green apples and lemons with a hint of nuttiness. Traditional method – a proportion of oaked wine is used in the liqueur d’expedition (dosage). Chapel Down is rapidly establishing itself as a world class wine brand and is gaining national and international recognition. Made in Tenterden, Kent, Chapel Down is proud to be the first ever English producer to win a gold medal for sparkling wine at the prestigious International Wine Challenge and its wines are getting better with every vintage.
